Organic, Pasture-Raised Duck Eggs, Packaged with Love and Tedious Care. Duck eggs are typically 50% bigger than a jumbo chicken egg.
Our ducks are healthy, and happy to roam free, in and out of the pond, from sunrise to sunset. Ducks find plenty to eat in the pond, including small insects, pondweed, and pond plants. On land, they love to eat bugs, grubs, and other insects and this changes the composition of their eggs. Duck eggs vary in size, but are generally larger than the largest chicken egg. Duck eggs are higher in fat, protein, and cholesterol, meaning, they’re more nutrient dense, more satisfying, and more delicious than chicken eggs. They’re fantastic fried, poached, scrambled, or boiled.
The duck eggs are cleaned, washed, and rinsed with an approved sanitizer. Then, they're packed and refrigerated at 45° F. The temperature is held at 45° F or less during transportation, and at the point of sale.
Duck eggs have different composition than chicken eggs, and they've become a favorite among chefs for baking. The extra fat contributes to a tender crumb, making them ideal for cakes and pastries. Start playing around with duck eggs; they’re a whole different league of good!

Duck eggs vary more in size, shape, and color compared to chicken eggs, making it challenging to establish standardized grading criteria by government agencies.
Also, duck eggs often cater to a niche or specialty market (e.g. chefs or food enthusiasts to elevate their culinary creations), where consumers may prioritize factors such as freshness and local sourcing over standardized grading.
