Goose eggs are here for just a few weeks in spring, and they are incredible—massively larger than chicken eggs and naturally packed with extra protein! These seasonal treasures are only available while the geese are nesting, we take phone or online orders on a first-come, first-served basis. We price them by weight in grams (see drop down list prior adding to cart). If the exact size you want isn't available from the farm, we'll reserve the closest match for you—either one size larger or one size smaller based on what's fresh that day. 
 
Our geese are raised without the use of antibiotics, hormones, or GMO feed. The geese have access to a pond, fresh grass and insects, resulting in a rich and flavorful egg. Each goose egg is carefully collected and inspected to ensure the highest quality. Use goose eggs in your favorite recipes for a rich and creamy addition that is sure to elevate any dish.
 
If you’ve never seen goose eggs, you’ll immediately notice their enormous weigh/size. Geese lay fewer eggs compared to other poultry (approximately 10-40 eggs annually). This makes each one a bit more special!

A Large Goose Egg  is equivalent to approximately 3 chicken eggs (packed with 20 grams of protein!)

A Jumbo Goose Egg  is equivalent to approximately 4 chicken eggs

By using a "blow out" technique—making a small hole at each end to remove the contents—you can enjoy a rich, protein-packed omelet while keeping the magnificent shell perfectly intact. This substantial shell remains a sturdy canvas for artists, continuing a tradition of egg decoration that dates back over two thousand years, most famously seen in the intricate Ukrainian art of Pysanky. Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating has been handed down through generations of the Ukrainian people. They are famous the world over for their colorful Easter Eggs (Pysanky). Over 2000 years ago, before the time of Christ, people decorated eggs believing that great powers were embodied in the egg. Eggs symbolized the release of the earth from the shackles of winter and the coming of spring with its promise of new hope, new life and prosperity. With the advent of Christianity, Easter eggs symbolize the Resurrection and a promise of eternal life. Legend has it that as long as pysanky are decorated, goodness will prevail over evil throughout the world.
